Mandelbulber is an open source fractal rendering program, which allows you to render and generate many different types of fractals. It’s a tri-dimensional rendering program, that can create and render Mandelbulbs as well as other 3D fractals. You can view them through a mouse-controlled camera, or by using a viewer texture. Mandelbulber can apply various lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion and multi-texture effects to the generated fractals. It can also create 3D shadow maps for post production or rending.

Once you are done with the installation, it is recommended to go to the ‘Settings’ menu and select ‘Settings’. This menu allows you to modify the default settings of the tool, and it also allows you to configure the file format for saving generated fractals.
It is also recommended to check the ‘Mandelbulb Screensaver’ option in the ‘Settings’ menu, so you can enable it as a screensaver, enabling the the fractals to be rendered as you move the mouse around.
